About…
Steven Errante is Conductor Emeritus of The Wilmington Symphony Orchestra and Professor Emeritus at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with degrees from the University of Michigan and the Juilliard School. An oft-commissioned composer, he has also created orchestrations and arrangements for artists as diverse as Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul and Mary) and Linda Lavin.Â

Active with younger performers as founder of the Wilmington Symphony Youth Orchestra and accompanist for the Girls' Choir of Wilmington, he has extensive composing and arranging experience for performers of all ages. His music is vital and approachable and connects with listeners at an emotional level while still challenging the performers with rich musical detail and craft.
